I just proved you all wrong!
No it didn't happen by going down a steep hill without touching the pedals if that's what you were thinking. Ok maybe a little bit.

Ok maybe a little bit.
If by a little you mean a lot.

Instant MPG FTW. I like resetting the avg at speed and getting 40+ mpg.

Right

By a little bit I mean like 58mpg more than the truck can actually get.

City or highway?

I do that sometimes haha! The truck says my avg right now is 13.1 which surprisingly sounds right for city driving.

Photoshopped out the decimal point, eh?

And then you hit the gas pedal:

No photoshop! Just how the numbers appear on this.
It does go to 7.6 quite a bit though haha

Does 18mpg max on the highway! About 11-14 in the city.

Then it was time to go uphill and it dropped to like 3mpg

Where are you from? I know trucks don't have 200mph speedometers

Canada! 200km/h speedo I just have it set to Imperial for the mpgs.
I'm unable to comprehend L/100km

Had you just been air-dropped out of the back of a C-130?

Some trucks like this get surprisingly good fuel economy... even when you touch the gas pedal:

I’ve been getting around 5 mpg on my recent purchase...

I would trade all the mpgs for that
